Council Meeting
                          July 12

New council member Carol Cary attended her first meeting on Monday.  She
fills the vacancy created by the death of Bonnie VanSickle.  The Council held
a moment of silence for VanSickle.

As part of the completion of the sewer separation project, the Poggemeyer
Design Group is visually inspecting business and residences to assure
compliance with EPA regulations. There is no cost to McComb residents.

The Union Cemetery is working on a deal to purchase two acres for
expansion.  The deal with Gary Roseman is expected to cost about $18,000.

The Council discussed how to deal with vicious dogs and decided to send
the issue to the Police, Fire and Safety Committee for recommendation.

The McComb Community Partnership is planning to erect a community
building at the park.
